How to perform energy shifting via holding physical positions.

Hold That Pose!

Postures are moments that you can come to recognize the power that stillness has. Each body posture corresponds to a particular System. This will also include that System's Twelve fields and Inner Aspects. These postures will begin at System One. When you have positioned yourself, take your breath throughout all your Inner Aspects and Fields. Focus on the space you have just created with each area you breathe into. This becomes your expanded being.

Begin by holding each posture for one minute and eventually, at your own rate, work up to being able to hold each posture for at least five minutes. Hold each one absolutely still and focus upon the expansion that you can sense occurring as you breathe.

Posture 1

  • Feet flat on the floor, legs in frog posture–shoulder width or wider apart, head up, hold tops of feet

  • Alternate: Use a chair to help support you.

  • Inhale through your feet into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through your feet, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 2

  • Stand, knees bent, back straight, head up

  • Inhale through your knees into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through your knees, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 3

  • Your legs are in a standing squat position – shoulder width apart, feet turned out, knees over your feet, pelvis tucked under<\li>

  • Place hands on your hips, fingers toward pubic bone

  • Inhale through your groin into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through your groin, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 4

  • Stand with feet shoulder width apart–turned out, legs slightly less bent than before

  • Place your hands over navel

  • Inhale through your navel into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through navel, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 5

  • Stand with feet at shoulder width apart–turned out, your legs are slightly less bent than previously

  • Place hands over solar plexus

  • Inhale through solar plexus into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through solar plexus, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 6

  • Stand with feet at shoulder width apart–turned out, knees slightly bent

  • Place your hands over your heart

  • Inhale through your heart into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through your heart, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 7

  • Stand with feet facing forward–about six inches apart—parallel to each other, legs straight without locking your knees

  • Place hands over throat

  • Inhale through throat into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through your throat, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 8

  • Stand with feet facing forward–about six inches apart—parallel to each other, legs straight without locking your knees

  • Place hands over eyes

  • Inhale through eyes into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through eyes, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 9

  • Stand with feet facing forward–about six inches apart—parallel to each other, legs straight without locking your knees, hands on top of head

  • Inhale through the top of your head into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through the top of your head, coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 10

  • Stand with feet facing forward–about six inches apart—parallel to each other, legs straight without locking your knees, hands on top of head, palms of your hands facing forward, tips of fingers pointed upwards

  • Place hands one foot above head

  • Inhale through this area into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through this area coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 11

  • Stand with feet facing forward–about six inches apart—parallel to each other, legs straight without locking your knees, hands on top of head, palms of your hands facing forward, tips of fingers pointed upwards

  • Place hands two feet above head

  • Inhale through this area into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through this area coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

Posture 12

  • Stand with feet facing forward–about six inches apart—parallel to each other, legs straight without locking your knees, hands on top of head, palms of your hands facing forward, tips of fingers pointed upwards

  • Place hands reaching toward three feet above head

  • Inhale through this area into all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects

  • Exhale through this area coming through all twelve Fields and Inner Aspects
